Overview:
The Sport Science Rehab and Performance Centre is Ottawa’s leading provider of interdisciplinary medical and high-performance care. Using technologies and resources typically reserved for professional athletes, the team at Sport Science endeavors to enhance performance training and rehabilitative program outcomes for amateur athletes and the general population. Since its launch in 2019, HW Health (parent company) has grown to over 55 employees across 2 locations. Our Sport Science Team is comprised of professionals from several different academic disciplines that collaborate to enhance the outcomes of our performance and rehabilitation training programs. Our team proudly features kinesiologists, biomechanists, exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, pelvic floor specialists, sports medicine doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and more. We are looking for our next hire to contribute a background in exercise physiology to help bolster our exercise science group.
The Job:
– Design and deliver rehab and performance training programs
– Design and implement team YTP and sessional training programs
– Perform athlete testing for rehab and performance athlete populations
– Produce athlete testing reports and analysis (following job training)
– Participate in our interdisciplinary research and development community
Conditions:
– $70,000 – $80,000 CAD annually
– Expected 34-40 hours per week
– 2 Week’s Paid Vacation
– In-Person (Ottawa, ON)
– Contract is for a Full Time / Permanent Employee
