WHO WE ARE

CFMWS. A job with purpose. Our 4000+ person strong organization champions a healthy, fun, creative and active lifestyle for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans and their families. Help us deliver a variety of recreation and fitness programs, offer family support, organize charity events and make sure our members access retail, travel and banking discounts and customized financial services. At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we love what we do. And we live it too.

THE ROLE

Supporting and working alongside the members of the Canadian Armed Forces and actively preparing them to defend and serve our country could be your path to an extremely fulfilling career.

As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as the Physical Exercise Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a very highly motivated and professional clientele who are eager to return to duty and improve their condition. Daily, you will lead reconditioning programs for Canadian Armed Forces members who may be affected with medical conditions and improve their functional abilities related to their physical limitations.

As the Physical Exercise Specialist, you will specifically oversee the implementation of the Aircrew Conditioning Program. The Aircrew Conditioning Program is a joint initiative of the Canadian Forces Health Services Group, Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, Defense Research and Development Canada, and the Royal Canadian Air Force. The Aircrew Conditioning Program consists of supervised and comprehensive exercises that target strength, cardio, mobility, core and neck muscles, and is a proactive program that can improve the physical health and performance of Air Force pilots throughout their careers.

Much like the military we so proudly support, we push the envelope of what’s possible. Working with us, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver programs and services in collaboration with a highly professional team of health services practitioners. Other stakeholders will be at your disposal to ensure a client’s successful return to duty.
