The purpose of this grant is to provide support for professional development events and opportunities throughout Canada. This grant provides like-minded organizations and CSEP members with an opportunity to apply for financial assistance or in-kind support for professional development activities which align with the advancement of the CSEP mission. The aim of the CSEP Partnership Grant is to connect qualified exercise professionals with a range of high-quality services, fitness, and research organizations, while providing a wide selection of professional development opportunities for CSEP members.
- The professional development event or activity must occur within Canada.
- If presenting research, the content must be evidence-based.
- CSEP members should receive preferential registration for the event.
- Priority will be given to applications from CSEP members.
- Travel and accommodation costs for applicants are not covered by this grant.
- Publication fees are not eligible for funding.
- Provide an event or activity outline including date, time, venue, and other relevant activities.
- Include speaker biographies or CVs and presentation abstracts, if applicable.
- Describe how the event will benefit CSEP members and identify which members will gain from it.
- Present a detailed budget, specifying the requested amount and fund allocation based on the attached Support Scheme.
- If relevant, include information about other sponsors or associations involved.
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

- Interested organizations must apply through the CSEP Partnership Grant Application Form.
- The applications will be reviewed by the CSEP Member Services Committee and contacted once selected.
- The grant applications are reviewed and a recipient is chosen twice a year (in July, and in November).
Following the CSEP Annual Conference the award recipient(s) will receive a $5,000 grant.
