The aim of this award is to recognize longstanding CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologists™ (CSEP-CEPs) and CSEP Certified Personal Trainers® (CSEP-CPTs) who have made a profound and lasting impact on the field of exercise science. This award is CSEP’s highest professional honor, celebrating leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and contributions to advancing exercise science in Canada.
- Open to CSEP-CEPs or CSEP-CPTs in good standing with 15+ years of membership preferred.
- Nominees must have demonstrated sustained leadership, research, mentorship, or advocacy contributions to the field.
- A one-page letter describing the nominee’s lifetime achievements and impact.
- Resume/CV
- At least two additional letters of support from CSEP members or industry professionals.
- Submit between April 1 – May 1, 2025, to be recognized for your contributions to exercise science and kinesiology.
- The CSEP Member Services Committee will review the submissions and select the award recipient.
- Please note that incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- The recipient will receive a framed certificate to be presented at the CSEP Annual Conference and $1000.00 honorarium as well as complimentary registration for the CSEP Annual Conference.
