The aim of this award celebrates CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologists™ (CSEP-CEPs) and CSEP Certified Personal Trainers® (CSEP-CPTs) who have demonstrated excellence in business leadership, entrepreneurship, or self-employment. This award highlights the critical role of business owners and entrepreneurs in advancing exercise science, expanding access to high-quality services, and fostering innovation within the industry. It reinforces CSEP’s commitment to supporting professional members in their business endeavors and advocating for their success.
- Open to all active CSEP-CEPs and CSEP-CPTs in good standing.
- Nominees must own or operate a business related to exercise science, health, or wellness or be self-employed in the industry.
- A one-page letter outlining how the nominee has excelled in business leadership, professional impact, and mentorship.
- Resume/CV
- (Optional) Additional letters of support from peers, clients, or business associates.
- Submit between April 1 – May 1, 2025, to be recognized for your contributions to exercise science and kinesiology.
- The CSEP Member Services Committee will review the submissions and select the award recipient.
- Please note that incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- The recipient will receive a framed certificate to be presented at the CSEP Annual Conference and a $500.00 honorarium.
