WHO WE ARE
CFMWS. A job with purpose. Our 4000+ person strong organization champions a healthy, fun, creative and active lifestyle for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans and their families. Help us deliver a variety of recreation and fitness programs, offer family support, organize charity events and make sure our members access retail, travel and banking discounts and customized financial services. At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we love what we do. And we live it too.
THE ROLE
Supporting and working alongside the members of the Canadian Armed Forces and actively preparing them to defend and serve our country could be your path to an extremely fulfilling career.
As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as the Fitness, Sports and Physical Exercise Coordinator you will have the opportunity to work with a very highly motivated and professional clientele who are eager to return to duty and improve their condition. Daily, you will lead military fitness classes and programs. You will also run the reconditioning programs for Canadian Armed Forces members who may be affected with medical conditions and improve their functional abilities related to their emotional or physical limitations.
Being a subject matter expert in your field, you will support your local team with training and professional development. You will assist our Health Promotion partners in promoting healthy practices and injury prevention through initiatives such as educational programs, special events and other activities related to physical fitness.
Much like the military we so proudly support, we push the envelope of what’s possible. Working with us, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver programs and services that are grounded in cutting edge scientific research and supported by state-of-the-art technology.
