
Clinical Kinesiology Technologist (Part-Time Temporary)

Reporting to the Operations Manager of Clinics and Labs, the incumbent will support faculty and students in the Clinical Kinesiology labs and internal placement.
What You’ll be Doing
- Supporting and assisting lab instructors and students in assigned lab classes;
- Supporting and assisting students during open practice times;
- Role-modeling professional behavior;
- Supporting and assisting with simulations including both set up and take down of equipment;
- Maintaining lab equipment which includes reporting any broken or damaged equipment;
- Preparing labs with all necessary equipment and materials;
- Ensuring the lab is clean, safe and organized;
- Promoting and conducting safe lab practices;
- Assisting with practical lab exams and open lab practice;
- Attending lab meetings when scheduled;
- Overseeing internal field placement;
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- A University Degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics and Professional Masters in Kinesiology or equivalent.
- A Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) and/or a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) in good standing with their respective regulatory Colleges.
- A minimum of 3 years working in a clinical/exercise setting, where exercise testing and prescription was performed on apparently healthy and individuals with chronic disease.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
