LIV North Inc. currently has an opening for an Account Manager (with some Personal Training) in Downtown Calgary. We are searching for a dynamic leader to be part of our professional fitness & wellness team, who has the talent and desire to offer exemplary care and customer service to our corporate members, guests and staff.

Job Description:
  • Job Category: this is a full-time salaried career position with LIV North with a health benefits plan.
  • Work Schedule: Work hours will vary between 6am-6pm with a combination of opening and closing shifts (may be asked to adjust hours to anytime between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm on occasion to meet member demand)
  • Customer Service and Floor Supervision: greet and engage with members, process new member applications, conduct orientations and fitness consultations and ensure that members are exercising safely and effectively.
  • Facility: Coordinate equipment maintenance and communicating facility needs to the client.
  • Wellness: create and implement programming including Lunch and Learns, fitness challenges, special events, etc.
  • Group Exercise Classes: Manage group exercise program to meet the needs of the members.
  • Personal Training: Manage personal training program. Conduct personal training sessions outside
  • Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology or other exercise science degree.
  • Current Personal Training Certification (CSEP-CEP, CSEP-CPT or similar).
  • Current CPR and First Aid.
  • Group exercise certification and class skills are an asset.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional Customer Service.
  • Enthusiastic and professional manner, suitable to a corporate fitness environment!

Full time: 37.5 hours per week (additional hours are available through teaching and personal training if candidate has proper experience and certifications) Start Date: 2022-02-01 or earlier Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Starting at $49,000 COVID-19 considerations (subject to change):

  1. You must be fully vaccinated (two doses completed at least 14 days prior to your start date).
  2. Proof of vaccination is required for this position.
  3. Masks must be worn for the majority, if not the entire length of your shift.
