Job Summary

Our multidisciplinary team, made up of a fitness and golf performance environment is in need of a Licensed Physiotherapist or Chiropractor.

We’re looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking, physical therapist who is hands on and provides the skills and expertise to find physical deficiencies in golfers quickly. The specialist must be able to efficiently and effectively assist the golfer in three key golf performance indicators; speed, longevity, and pain.

We operate a high-energy, positive thinking environment and we offer our members encouragement to achieve their goals.

The contractual position allows the contractor to work 7 days a week, with flexible hours.

Passion for motivating people and assisting a client through pain management are fundamental to the success in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Meet with members and clients and provide an initial evaluation related to golf.
  • Devise a customized detailed treatment and golf performance care plan for each client.
  • Communicate and coordinate with golf instructor and fitness specialist to ensure a consistent level of care is provided to the golfer.
  • Report on client’s progress.
  • Comply with the Regulatory Health Professions Act.
  • Complete continuing education courses to maintain License.
  • Provide pop ups, seminars, combined clinics/demo workshops and involvement in member’s events to internally help market and build the golf performance business.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3 – 5 years professional Physiotherapy or Chiropractor experience with emphasis on golf injuries.
  • Valid license with the College of Physiotherapist or Chiropractors of Ontario
  • Medical TPI Level 1 or 2 Professional (Preferred)
  • Understands biomechanics of the golf swing and uses golf and medical knowledge to help clients
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to member success
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Must provide own personal liability insurance
  • Good communicator, service orientated and problem solver
