Kelly Mackenzie has made a tremendous contribution to the CSEP Professional Standards Program®. As a long serving volunteer, Kelly has sat on various CSEP-PSP® Committees and subcommittees including the Professional Standards Program Committee®, the CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist™ Technical Sub-Committee and the CSEP Appeals Committee.
Kelly first joined the CSEP-PSP Committee in 2016. Since then the CSEP-PSP® Committee has overseen a number of changes and new initiatives. These including the launch of the CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist™ designation, introductions of CSEP specializations, updates to certification exams, creations of new resource manuals and study guides, and a shift to adapt certifications to the covid-19 pandemic. In addition to being an active committee volunteer, Kelly is also a CSEP Instructor-Examiner helping candidates meet the Gold Standard become CSEP Certified Members.
Kelly has recently volunteered a significant amount of time developing an Allied Healthcare Referral Toolkit for CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologists. The Toolkit is designed to provide professional form templates and guidance for those working with clinical population beyond the tools in the CSEP-PATH manual. With work experience both in academia and professional practice, Kelly’s contribution stems from many years of practical experience in the allied healthcare field.
